CCSS launches contest to strengthen the commitment and good treatment in all units

In order to promote engagement as an essential value in providing health services to the insured population, authorities of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS), officially launched the "Good Deal 2016" contest as part of the Good Treatment Comprehensive policy approved by the Board in March 2013.
The organization of the competition is led by the Communications Organizational Support and Institutional Management Comptrollers Health Services CCSS and aims at the development of a project involving creative strategies that promote the value of commitment and good treatment in the provision of services demanded by the user population.
According to the graduated Marylene Quesada Quesada, institutional coordinator of the contest, the initiative is aimed at all institutional (medical, financial and administrative) units, which provide direct treatment to people who attend services of the institution and who wish to participate with the launch of a project that is characterized by being replicable, creative, innovative, low-cost, high impact and promote teamwork.
In addition, the proposal must be sustainable over time and promote the value of commitment in providing health services.
According to the official, this year the CCSS commemorates the 75th anniversary of its creation, so part of this celebration, as a novelty must be implemented within the project, strategies and activities related to the commemoration directed to the welfare of the people of activities the services provided by the institution.
In this edition, like the previous year, the participating units played the best projects in three categories: hospitals, health areas and administrative offices (financial units, administrative and pension).
To the degree Quesada is important the growing involvement of institutional units in these initiatives, all while contributing to humanize services, foster a culture of work and strengthen the institutional image.
The registration period is valid from today until March 31 of this year, its closure is scheduled for August and evaluation of the participating projects will be held at the end of the month.
The award ceremony of the winning units will be held in October, during the week of the Social Security.
This is the fourth edition of the " good treatment " since the launch of its first version in 2013 , in which over four years, have promoted the values of courtesy , respect , honesty and now , commitment.
During this period , this contest has highlighted hospitals Monsignor Sanabria , Tony Facio , Ciudad Neily , CENARE , clinics Montes de Oro and Jicaral in Puntarenas , as well as the branch Ciudad Quesada , as leaders of projects involving creative strategies to strengthen good treatment in the provision of healthcare services network throughout the country.
